stitched-exotics-vellum-base-bew.jpgThis is a quick card using vellum as the card base. I much prefer SU’s cardstock vellum to regular vellum as it is much sturdier and holds up better for card bases and going througha  printer.

This card uses the Stitched Exotics set again. The base is wheeled with the “It’s Beautiful” matching wheel in Soft Sky, and then the main image is the 5 pointed blossom from the set. Then I used the 5 petal punch to layer the main blossom as it fits the inside of that stamp perfectly! I added some clear chunky glitter from teh Spring Mini for some shine, and teh inside is layered black and Soft Sky to bring the colors together. Thanks for looking!

When you wheel on the vellum, do you use the ink cartridge in the handle, or do you ink the wheel on an ink pad? The card is beautiful.

Back in Dec…you had a post on your blog with thank you cards made for your little one with a personalized stamp from stampin up. I loved the idea and saved the link but it’s not there anymore…could you please tell me what your stamp said…was it thank you from and then the name?
    Thanks!

I agree completely, Britta! SU’s Vellum Cardstock is wonderful! It can stand up to techniques without curling up & messing up everything! Love what you’ve done with it here!!
