I am sure you have seen the buckle cards where a strip of paper is slid through the Word Window Punch to create a buckle to close the card-they are adorable!
I was in a new catalog swap and decided to do a “faux buckle” card. To do this you raise up the main image on dimensionals and slide the paper underneath so that it tucks under the main image and holds the card clsed that way. This way also covers the hole from the Word Window Punch (which you do not have to use for this buckle).
The background designer paper is from the Cutie Pie set, as is the fold over strup-one wonderful thing about the Cutie Pie paper is that since it is double-sided you still get a cute pattern under the polka dotted side. The main image is raised up on dimensionals. I stamped the butterfly once on the white square, and then again in Real red ink on shimmer white cardstock and cut that one out and placed it over the square image so it pops off the page. The dots that look white are actually microbeads and glitter for an extra sparkle!
