Here is a little funky flower made with the set called “Doodle This” in the SU! Spring Mini. It uses a technique I came up with which I am calling the banded brayer using multiple colors of ink pads on a brayer to create a multi-colored background.

This also uses a resist technique. The images were 1st stamped in black ink on glossy paper. The certain portions of the image were highlighted by going over them with the Versamarker I have through Stampin’ Up! Then the entire image was brayered over. You can see the highlighted elements better in the pink passion area where the stems and swirls are.

The middle strip has piercing along the two sides to mimic the dots throughout the main image panel. Love the apricot/pink passion combo-perfect for Spring!
